Default Guess whos back!!

Yes, its true... I graduated from Marine Corps boot camp yesterday and I got home today. It was long, and it was tough, but the good Lord blessed me with the courage and strength to continue through the hardest parts. I just wanted to say 'hey' and I will be home until the 5th oc February. I look forward to hearing from you all soon.

WELCOME BACK MATT!!!!

We were actually talking about trying to make it to the graduation, but my schedule got so effed up I never had a change to talk to your folks and get more details.

Some of us are getting together up at A&P Arms at Lynnhaven this morning (10 am) if you want to join us...I know you do the church thing, but wanted to invite you anyways.

Yeah, I appreciate the offer, Joe, but I will be at church. This is my first opportunity to wear my Dress Blues and I want to look GOOD!! Lol, I will definately have to get up with everyone before I leave again, though.

LOL, Enjoy!

trust me, I said that the first time I wore a tux for performance. After the 10 or 12th time, the hassle of getting it to the cleaners, making sure you got all of it back, making sure it is PERFECT when you are putting it on...looses it's charm. HAHAHA. Now don't get me wrong, wearing it and looking good still feels good, but you will soon start to curse the process of getting into it.

Hey Brian! Yes, I have quite a few days off actually. I will be home until February 4th. So, if you are going to be in the area, let me know. My car isnt running... dont ask, lol. My next duty assignment is in Jacksonville, North Carolina at Camp Geiger inside Camp Lejuene. It is Marine Combat Training. I will be there for 22 days and then the exact day I am done with that, I am going to be flying down to Pensacola, FL for anywhere from 8-13 months for my Aviation Mechanics schooling.

Looks like realistically we have the 26, 27, 2, or 3 to try to get the gang together before you head to Lejuene. I know they are doing Enduro racing on the 27th, and I am sure the 3rd your gonna want to spend with your family before shipping off.

Everyone chime in and let us know when a congrats, going away something or other would be good. If we get enough people who can get together I will make a knew "when, where, what" thread.

I am in for any of thoes days
Matt, since you have been gone we have been doing a few endurance races with the karts up in richmond. If you want to run a practice sometime up there and get in on one of the teams for the endurance I am sure that wouldn't be a problem. Let us know if you want to

Congrats Matt. Its gotta feel like a great accomplishment. I know I would never have made it past the drill sergeant bangin on the trash can lid at 5 am telling me its time to run 10 miles. Yeah, we woulda had problems.

0500 is sleeping in for boot camp! We woke up at about 0330 almost every morning. The only days we woke up later was on Sundays. Thanks Ed!
