Default Visiting NCM - need advice

I'll be visiting Huntsville on business and I'm wondering if it's doable to drive to the NCM in Bowling Green, see the museum and drive back to Huntsville all in one day? I'm only going to have the one day and it looks doable - maybe 3hr drive each way.

Thanks, Mark

Should not be a problem. It is interstate all the way. Exit 28 off of I-65. Left at the light.

You should be able to go the the assembly plant if you are going during the week.

Thanks. I'll try and hit both the museum and the factory.

How much time should I allow at both the museum and assembly plant?

Thanks, Mark

Of course you could spend all day at the NCM and not see every little thing or you could breeze through and hit the highlights or whatever catches your eye. I'd give it a minimum of 2 hrs. the plant tour takes about an hour once it gets started. we had to wait in a staging area watching videos for nearly an hour before they took us in.

Thanks. I've got all day to spend there so I'll just plan on being there early.

Try to be there 30 minutes early for the tours. BG is in the central time zone and there are 3 different tour times daily.

Thanks, I think I've got it worked out that I'll drive up to BG, do the museum and factory tour and then drive back to Nashville and spend the night there and then fly back to Ca. The plane fair is almost $100 less flying back out of Nashville as opposed to Huntsville.
