My friend and I are headed to the C-5/C-6 Bash next week and are wondering if there are any construction area's to avoid or potholes etc.We will be coming from the Memphis area up I-40. THANKS !
I'm going to the Bash, too. We'll be coming up the Natchez Trace to Nashville.
It's been a year since we've been up, but there was construction on I65 north of Nashville. Hopefully, It's about finished...since I don't know a better way.
Hope to see you there,
David
You never know when a construction site will appear on a Nashville road. There are several bridges currently under repair in the city. Beware of these if possible as the TDOT has been very lax in enforcing safety standards for this construction. Just last week a rock fell from a bridge and broke a windshield. They were rebuilding the side boards of the bridge and the contractor had not installed any type of barrier or netting to catch debri. The rock was the size of a baseball.
David, I'll be there. Me and TEC6 (Tim Coleman ) are leaving Memphis AREA AROUND 6:00 AM Friday morning. We will be staying at the Fairfield Inn.Look for a Precision Red C-6 Coupe with Tenn. tags 2GRUMPY or a 05 Daytona Sunset Orange Vert.We are going to the Santa Fe Cattle Company (it's in front of the Hampton Inn hotel on Three Springs Toad exit 22)around 5:00 pm Friday night, come onover and join us fo a steak and a drink.
