Mick,
Don't tell me you're taking the Mrs. somewhere for din-din with more class than Chick Fil-A??? What's up? Anniversary? Won the lottery?
Will miracles never cease?
I just saw your Mrs. yesterday ... two Atomic Orange Vettes going in opposite directions. I believe the cars winked at each other. I guess it must be an 'atomic' thang.
type to you later....

Went to my first BMW club event not too long ago...it was....................interesting.
You know the ages-old joke, right? The difference between a porcupine and a BMW?
With the BMW, the ****** are on the inside.
Yes... Unmasked you said "COLOR="White"]With the BMW, the ****** are on the inside.[/COLOR" LOL
And it's usually true!
I'm glad Corvette people are more down to earth and act like "normal" humans...
I've owned 5 BMW's and belong to BMWCCA but have never gone to a meet!
BUT I am going to the BMW M Driving school in September, free courtesy of BMW NA!

Agreed, on the 3rd Bimmer here and have only gone to one meet just to check it out. It certainly felt a lot *different* than the Corvette events, to say the least.
Any more info on the driving school? Is this available to all BMW owners? Always looking for more track time...especially if it's free

More info, sure! You need to go buy a new M5 or a M6
It's really not "free" LOL
They do put you up in a hotel for 2 nights and feed you both days!
I think it's normally $1300? plus hotel and food?

It never is. ("free", that is)
Sounds like a blast, have a good time! I'll stick to my track days at Summit and Watkins.
