Good plan, wish I could join you. Just got home from errands and the outside temp gauge read 95 degrees F at 1:30 PM. 
I need a second shower...Debating on hitting the BK cruise-in later than normal...

I just saw your Mrs. yesterday ... two Atomic Orange Vettes going in opposite directions. I believe the cars winked at each other. I guess it must be an 'atomic' thang.

I'm glad Corvette people are more down to earth and act like "normal" humans...
I've owned 5 BMW's and belong to BMWCCA but have never gone to a meet!
BUT I am going to the BMW M Driving school in September, free courtesy of BMW NA!

Agreed, on the 3rd Bimmer here and have only gone to one meet just to check it out. It certainly felt a lot *different* than the Corvette events, to say the least. 
Any more info on the driving school? Is this available to all BMW owners? Always looking for more track time...especially if it's free

It's really not "free" LOL
They do put you up in a hotel for 2 nights and feed you both days!
I think it's normally $1300? plus hotel and food?
