Re: Christmas Party Burnouts (ALLTHROTTLE&NOBOTTLE)
Steve, you need to check out the Beachcombers Corvette Club. There are a few burnout champs there too.
At the Xmas parade in Chesapeake last month, one member put up a big smoke screen. Come to find out, a few people complained and .....
well you know what happens next.

Re: Christmas Party Burnouts (ALLTHROTTLE&NOBOTTLE)
I have been burning tires for 21 years.
Damn you guys are old. I just turned 25 a few months ago. So I guess you have me beat in the # of years you have been frying tires. But I am getting a young start!
25? I've got change in my pocket thats older than that! Ahhhhhh to be young again. I've paved a few sections of roadway myself, helped boost some tire company stocks etc..
Sorry to rain on everyones parade but that was not the time or the place for any of that.
Yes a time and place for everything, but once one person starts, everyone else follows, luckily this time, I was not involved, just an innocent bystander.
BTW, I've been burning rubber for almost 20 years!
Well I am 39 now, bought my first car on my 15th birthday. A 1965 GTO Tri-power, Muncie M-21, and 3.73 posi. Guess that gives me about 24 years of tire frying.
If you want to see some hellacious tire marks drive up Cedar Road in Chesapeake, left overs from the Christmas parade. About 50 or so from 3 masked bandits thrilling the crowd. Ed, I was not the one in front of the Parade stand lighting them up either.
I like what I saw in one of the other sections.........The Police officer made some of the vettes stop & do a burnout during a parade!!!!!!!!!!
NICE :yesnod:
