Naaaaa I don't want it. Actually I think we are the same grade. He might wish that he had stayed there. With a new administration comming in and everything. He was pretty safe where he was, once ya get up on the hill your much closer to the politics. Don't i know it. The posistion he got is brand new so I hope he is safe. How ya like those new HOV's ? :D Actually we had to pull a few strings to get the Feds to let us open them. They were not sappose to open until the Mercery interchange was finished.

As for the HOV's, I know you guys on the hill played ping-pong to get them open, (I am sure my call the DOT HK, made the difference:lol: ) but I must say triple digets in the pick-up in the moring going to work is Smoothhhhhhhhhhhh.:cool:
If I have to wait till Jacks age to see the HR stuff you are working on, We will have no road issues.........The Hover Craft should take care of that! :jester

You know Mike, I was coming home from work last Monday, the first day the new HOV was open, and in the middle was a big white van, with a camera about 20-30 feet in the air. It was pointed right down on the West bound HOV lane.
What was it doing? Counting cars? Anybody in the white van?

You guys wait to ya see what the General Assmembly gang is gonna try and get through this year. geez...i'm not gonna get into it but it will never fly. Basiclly its gonna be a bond Ref. It will give the the people of HR the choice to Vote on raising $$$ for 7 Billion worth of projects in the area..(A new tunnel crossing, an expressway in Va. Beach, I-64 widen to New Kent, Widen 460 to interstate standards...and a few more) heres the catch.Tolls on I-64,I-664, new tunnel and the new expressway, gas tax (about 10 cents) and a 1% sales tax.
1st it has to get thru the General Assembly (ain't gonna happen I would be shocked) if it did then the people of HR would have to Vote yes..(Really ain't gonna happen)
P.S. This also includes a high speed rail system beside existing I-64...the design calls for 100mph speeds :eek:
This all is gonna happen 1 day..most likely you will see the new Tunnel within 14 years....i know i know...but that puppy alone is about 3-4 Billion

Well it seems that everwhere I move the roads are in constant state of construction/reconstruction. Soon the'll be widening Dominion Blvd. 104 and boy that will be fun..
