Yes, Ted's in Sterling tomorrow when everyone gets tired of being roasted at the Cruise-in in Manassas.

We will have to decide what time to do this but I think that can be left until tomorrow to see who actually shows up for the show.

All, no way I can do it today! I am still beat - and haven't unloaded the two SUV's in my driveway full of stuff from setting up the show.

Chris, if you know the guy that owns the cars and coffee trademark and see him while you are out there... tell him you know me and that I know what I am doing when it comes to putting on big car events and his merketing person should really get back in touch with me! We want to do a DC version but they have really dropped the ball getting their fee info to me. We will do it on our own soon (and call it something else) if I dont hear back from them.

Mick,

I was only able to stay for a couple hours however, I do know the guys behind the C&C event. I will ask.

It was an awesome deal - C&C would be great to have in the Washington area (for when I am actually home). I would have to say that in the area, the Dulles corridor makes sense, as I do not see this happening close to D.C.

I spoke to the guy at length and he wouldnt tell me the cost to 'license' the use of the name - said it was based on the market.
Licenseing the name also inlcudes back office web connectivity to them and their support for marketing and legal.

Then their marketing lady was to get me the info and I spoke to here and told her what my steerling committee was thinking of for locations, etc and still havent heard a price from her.

My bet is its too costly anyway so we my just trademark a similar variation of the name and do an east coast franchise if I dont hear back from them soon. (I am sure you know by now, I am savvy enough with web, marketing, and legal that I aint going to overpay for just using thier name.)

Let me know if you can get them to call me back.

Rob says 7:00 p.m. and asked that I post it for him.
Does this mean that I am the alternate NoVA events coordinator? OMG, the thought of that much power . . .

That would mean we need to leave Sterling by a little after 5pm to get through all the traffic. I dont know that I can cut our that early today since I skipped work on friday to prpare for the show. I'll try to see you all at Ted's later in the month.

Come on dude! I'm leaving from my work in Herndon. Should be fun. Hopefully someone has some form of aftermarket exhaust I can listen to.
