ORLANDO Vette Regular Hang Out Night
Fellow Owners...just trying to gauge interest in a regular hang out night. This isn't a club...just owners getting together once a week at local places to hang out, talk about vettes and whatever else. I'm thinking more in the East Orlando area...between 436 and UCF there are a million places. Most places can accommodate us with held parking, etc if they know we are coming. Tuesday or Wednesday nights at like 7:30/8?

I'm on the east side of town, and game for a little get together. This place is in Waterford Lakes just off of 408 by Alafaya trail and has a nice outdoor patio and large parking lot if you're looking for ideas on locations: http://www.firkinkeglercenter.com/

Lets start with 3 possibilities:
Friendly Confines II (intersection of 436 and Aloma)
Hooters (just south of the intersection of 436 and Red Bug Lake Road)
Applebee's (across from UCF campus)
I tried to pick locations that had big parking lots and outdoor seating. I think Tuesday nights would be best. I'll call these locations and see what they can do for us.

UCF Hooter's

South of 408 on Lake Underhill...Near Trick Shots and Waterford Lakes Shopping Plaza.
Tuesday night (8/5) start at 7:00...We will have reserved parking for about 6 cars for now...but if I know there will be more coming, Chris (the manager) said we could have more. Also, the more cars we have, the "sweeter" the discounts will be. This is the first place that truly sounded interested in having us there, so they get first dibs on our patronage.
It will also be Trivia Night (starting at 8:00), so bring your thinking caps.
If I can get a head count, that'll be great guys (and gals). Look forward to Tuesday!
