The Coastal Carolina Corvette Club is putting this event on. We have not voted on a charity for 2002. It will be voted on in Feb. The route is a local one with some scenic and historical driving.
If you are coming east on I-26 towards Charleston, get off at the Summerville exit 199. Go to the third stop light. There is a Lowes on the corner. Take a left on Berln G Meyers Parkway. Stay on it until it ends. Turn left on Bacons Bridge Rd. Stay on Bacons Bridge Rd ( five stop lights) You have reached Dorchester Rd. Turn left on Dorchester Rd towards Charleston. Take Dorchester to the second stop light. It's around 3 miles.(Bi-Lo on the left) Turn left on Trolley Rd. Turn at the first right (post office) You are now at the Poker Run. Summerville is 20 min west of Charleston.
What event is going on in Feb on the Island? I might be able to bring some cars from the http://www.CapitolCityCorvetteClub.com out of Columbia. As well, I think we will have cars going to the Summerville event. Sounds like fun!
We have a trip to Hilton Head on the 16 of Feb. I will talk to Drop top Dave for some more info. I will let you know. We would love to have you come to our Poker run. It will be our first one. But not the last.
I just got off the phone with Marty (4deatr) re. the Hilton Head trip slated for February 16th. He'll be posting the details shortly. I won't steal his thunder but let me just say "Hot wings and cold beer anyone?" :D
