Here is a statement from their website:

Dear Corvette Reunion Attendees,

It is with great disappointment we are announcing that this year’s Corvette Reunion is being cancelled. As all of you are aware, historic economic times have affected you, our suppliers, our company and all involved in putting together a first rate show like the Reunion. Rather than have anything less than a top-notch show, we have decided instead to provide you with some great offers from Eckler’s and Reunion exhibitors during what would normally be Reunion weekend. We apologize for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause you. Should you have any questions regarding existing deposits, etc., please contact Cozette Alley at 321-385-1113. Thank you for your understanding, support and patronage.

Sincerely,

Michael G. Wilson

Geez, if they're so stretched that they can't host a gathering of customers, I sure wouldn't be ordering anything from them that would need to be back-ordered. Their biggest expense is probably the extra payroll for one or two days, but I can't imagine it to be a deal breaker. Been going for almost 25 years and will miss it, but there's usually a big show over in the Tampa area around that time of year so I'll simply drive across state instead of up state.

Default Dates?

Anybody know the dates it was supposed to be? And what about their attendance at the NCRS in Jan? I always looked forward to their "Scratch & Dent" sale.

I think it was in mid March. I think they only take orders at the NCRS and ship no scratch & dent. But I don't know if they will be there in Jan. If sales are slow I would do every show posible to make $. We will have our booth there. See ya , Marc

Doesn't make sense to me Last Saturday, I participated in a toy run there and about 75-80 Corvettes showed up. Eckler's was open for us to buy parts, and there seemed to be fair amount of buying going on. Kevin
