I've never gone to a track before, but MCR is close to my house and I'd like to go have some fun sometime. What I can tell from their website, Tuesday is a generic street legal night. What is the process of getting signed up to race and what all do you need etc etc. I've never raced at a track before so if someone could take me through it step by step that would be phenomenal.
I am not sure about the schedule - but you might want to call and see if they are still having it this time of year. A lot of those events run through the end of October and will pick back up in March.
(Not to mention that tonight is pretty lousy for just about any type of racing)
I haven't been out there in a couple years, but you drive up, hand them $15 and get in line, they'll wave you up to the burn out area and you can either burn out or go ahead and stage. When you cross the lights at the end of the track brake fairly hard because there isn't much runoff area, hang a right, go get your timeslip, and then get back in line.
Get their early to get the most runs in during the test/tune time, and then they have bracket racing starting about 9pm or there abouts. I've been getting the drag racing bug back, so I'll definitely be back out there this spring! Looking forward to some Corvette time next year. I haven't had near as much as I'd like lately!!!

Thanks man! That's exactly what I was looking for.
One more thing. Take a bottle of white shoe polish with you because they will give you a number and you will put that on the RH top of your windshield and the passenger window.
I have not been there in a couple if years also, but go on Tuesday night as you will be able to get any where from 3 to 6 runs in that night vs Fri or Sat and you would be lucky to get 2 runs on those nights.
