It was a very wet and rainy day but still a good time. Thanks for all the people that came out to the shop. These cars do run good in the rain.
The best part was watching RJ try and figure out his problems.
Jeff's bone stock 2001 Z06 did awesome. 335HP at the rear wheels.
The leaf blower works great Jack. I'll have to show you that trick sometime.
But it was good to see everyone again. And Chuck didn't blow up anyone's car this year either.
And Lane did the first run with a stock C5. With a lot of help from Jeff and Tony, they changed his exhaust and put the blackwing on the car in about 1 hour 30 minutes. That mod gave Lane 15 more HP when he did his second dyno run.

Re: Hampton Roads Dyno Day pics (fastzr1)
:D Ed, I invented the leaf blower trick :D :D :D
Glad you guys had a good day!
Spent the day on the Vette Killer, getting it sorted out. Lookin Good :smash:
Getting the underhood stuff straightened out, particularly all those wires and vacuum hoses I don't need anymore  :D
If I have the new steering box in and the tuning done, I may bring it on the next Hooters stop and try a burnout    :smash: :bs
 pics as always!!!!!!
Too bad I didn't get everyones name.

Re: Hampton Roads Dyno Day pics (ALLTHROTTLE&NOBOTTLE)
 pics. It was great to come out and see everyone from across the water. I am usually hanging out with RJ or at the dyno itself talking with Chuck or Seth. Great bunch of guys up there. Sorry I didn't get everyones names today....but I was the guy in the black Corvette Racing hat if that helps. :D

yea, Lee is one that made over 400LBS TQ at the rear wheels last year. Too bad that car was totalled by the owner that bought the car.
Lee, did you see his website? Has pictures of your car on there all tore up. Ouch.
I agree it was great hanging out and seeing some faces I have not seen in a while (Gene). Sorry the car did not want to work flawlessly. I believe it is ignition related. Ohh Well, theres always next year :)
Ed,
I have never been to his website. I didn't even know that he had one. But I have the pics on mine too. It killed me to see it. But the passenger compartment did well as did the engine.
I love the leaf blower pic, I think I will have to steal that pic for the site too. Way too funny not to. :D

Above is a quick link to Lane's first run on the dyno. (Before the new exhaust and air box) You will see how the dyno was wet and the first time Chuck got on the car, the rear wheels spun.
I don't know what his numbers were, but as soon as Lane sends me his #'s I can put a CD together of some video's from the dyno day, Skyline, burnouts.....
Hello Guy's:
Sorry that I didn't get a chance to talk to everyone there, but it was nice to see everyone that showed up. RJ- your the man. Good running car even thought you had the top-end blurp. I'll just have to try & step-up to hang out with you now. I'm very impressed with the ZO6. That's a good running all stock car. The majority of the cars that I saw was impressive. I have a different view of the late modles.FastZR-1, ED- ZR-1's are sweet cars outright and your's is awsome. I'll have to get myself a hugh blower to put infront of my forced air system. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it, 7HP. Hopefully the next time I'll have my car running without it's parts sitting on a table somewhere. Take care & maybe we can get together again.
Hey there Gene :seeya
Enjoyed our chat in the back about BROKEN REAR ENDS............
Well, they just don't last for ever do they!
Hope you get it back on the road soon and bullet proofed some more.
Its a *&%$@ to have a broken car...........hard to drive them like that.
