Now's the time to mark this one on your calender: April 26 & 27. Join 500 to 600 other Corvette enthauests for Circle City Corvette's annual Beach Caravan. Our caravan gets bigger each year, why, because its just a great way to spend a weekend. We'll start at 6:00 on Friday night with a party at the Party Barn in Dothan. Enjoy free food and soft drinks (BYOB), mingle with guests Jim Minneker (Chief, GM Powertrain Division) and Wendle Strode (Executive Director National Corvette Museum) and others, enjoy the karaoke, and win door prizes. Then on Saturday morning, we'll line up and be ready to depart for the beach at 9:30. We'll go straight to Pineapple *****'s and have lunch (not free), and then enjoy one of the world's most beautiful beaches. We'll get together again at 6:00 for another party with free finger food, guest speakers, and a Corvette item auction for the NCM. All this for only 40 bucks, and this includes an event T-shirt!! I'm glad you guys can make it, we always have a lot of fun on Caravan weekend. But hey, how could you not have fun when you combine lots of Vette buddies, parties, and a Caravan to the beach.

I just got to work and checked my calendar here. I have to be in Kansas City that weekend for my industry's largest convention. It's gonna be all about 9/11 and the WTC, and thus I can't miss it. Looks like fate will keep me from the Beach Caravan once again:(

We have registrations coming in every day, and the motels are filling up. We will probably get about 300 cars this year (had 240 last year). So, act now before its too late!

Nice web page. We met someone from your club at Gatlinburg Vettefest last year & I wanted to do this caravan but I will be in philly this year. It sounds like too much fun. Well I will try to make it next year.

We've had to add additional motels to handle all of the participants coming to our Corvette Beach Caravan. In Dothan, AL you can contact the Motel 6 at 334-793-6013 and the Surbaban Lodge at 334-673-9111. In Panama City Beach you can contact the Chateau Motel at 850-234-2174, please ask for Kevin or Christy and mention code COV. All of these motels are within a block of the host motels which are booked. For info you can contact John Hickman at jhickman@ala.net.
