After 7 months of waiting, my trial date is tomorrow for my willful speed competition ticket. What pisses me off most about this ticket is that I didn't do poopie. Just because two sport car leaves at a light with a little bit of speed and they consider that racing..WTF.....It didn't help that it was 3:30 in the morning and that damn "fast and the furious" movie was out..They were busting everybody around here that even look like they were racing..
best of luck Shannon!!!!!!!!! give them hell.. and be certain to leave a pleasant reminder of what 405 HP looks like in the shap of a round rubber signature of the court house parkling lot :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
no your honor i find you in contempt of court!!! :smash:
Hey there! I hope you at least consulted an attorney.... They have a way of getting things reduced .... yeah, it's not free, but it sometimes is better than the impact of a "heavy" ticket (insurance implications, etc).
Good luck to ya..... I've actually had a ticket reduced from a 70 in a 55 to a 60 in a 55 "just because a lawyer was there". Paid only court costs and $100 to the attorney.... No points, and I didn't even have to go to court that day.....
;)
OK...I wish you the best of luck. WC Courthouse sukzzzz!! Anyhoo- look forward, and that's a Fast Frwrd, to meeting you Next Friday for some good runs at the Rock.
Well after enduring sitting around in the courthouse today for a hour or so looking at all the weird and thug style people go by , I find out my lawyer had the case postponed to another date because her associate who was going to represent me was stuck on another courtcase. :mad
..
She is the worst lawyer in the world on letting me know what is going on. Its bad that I had to keep calling the office to find out what to do...
