Raleigh area members!!!!!
For all that plan to attend or not attend next friday's raceday at the Rock, how about we have a little get together at Hooter's Thursday night before the big race day....Sit back, drink some beer, look at some hooters, and talk poopie to each other on how we are going to beat each other up at the track... :cheers:

You guys give me suggestions on a meet time as I know most of you work the day shift, whereas I work the night shift so anytime is good for me...Let's say 7ish...... :cheers: :chevy :cheers:

I luv their hooters and wings however, I know the GM and we tried to have our club social there two weeks ago. He saved 20 spots for us to park our cars, gave us great specials on wings and beer but absolutely dogged us out on seating. It was packed. there was about 25 of us. we got seated in 3's and 4's with the last group getting seated as the first group of people were leaving. I was damn pissed off. I had arranged the social at least a month in advance and called weekly to make sure things were stil kewl. when we all arrived he said that some fraternity had calle da week ago and he gave them the full back area. needless to say, it was a bit difficult to "socialize" and shoot the poopie when none of us were really together. I sent him a nasty gram about how much potential busness he lost not to mention a carwash I had setup with him in May for charity, which I also cancelled. He may be feeling guilty and if we can get a headcount I will call him again to see what he can do for next Thursday although I would rather rip his head......while looking at hooter's of course. :eek: please let me know and I'll do what I can.

Only when we were bitchin' about how we got treated at our club social. Having one member get really pissed and launching out of the parking lot to leave befpre he was seated surely didn't help either...but hey, they deserved it :blueangel:
