For those not local to the area there is a Ferrari/Maserati dealership right off of a main 3 lane parkway near my house. There is a long off ramp with wide shoulders and jersey walls that runs in front of it.
Every time I drive past it I drop down into 2nd and floor it and let my full exhaust be heard. Today there were two guys walking around outside and when I let my car get loud they both snapped their heads around and gawked. It made my wife laugh.
Anyone else do something like this or am I the only clown who thinks its funny?
All the time!!! haha. I used to do that in my camaro and now i do it in my Z.
I went out for a cruise last weekend and was down that way and did the same exact thing. Right over there around Wegmens. I like to let her rip on those ramps.
No offfense, but I suspect the buyers at that dealership look and sorta giggle to themselves, something like we do when a Nissan with a coffee can revs it while were nearby in our Vettes. Yeah, one difference is, you could most likely out run most in the 1/4, however,,,,,,,,

Yeah, I agree. I don't know why I do it but I can't resist the urge.
Having worked some of Ferrari of Washington's Track events didn't see many gigles when the Vettes hit the track True some of the people are little nose in the air but most of the Ferrari folks are not.

I would hardly compare a fart-can equipped honda with a Z06, and I suspect even the Ferrari salesmen wouldn't either. The patrons, on the other hand, might - but even most of them aren't that stupid.

I work nearby, so I get my car emissions inspected there. I've also had tires mounted there, as well as just ventured over to ogle the wares. I've never gotten anything but friendly attitudes, both from employees as well as customers, about my POS old C4.
