Default [Shootout] Awesome Event

Very well done event. I had an awesome time, very cool cars. It went very smoothe, much less down time between the qualifying and the bracket races.
All you guys that organized that event need to give yourself a big pat on the back. (not sure how exactly sure what the "big" part means exactly  )

Thanks Mean Green, the tent, drinks and stuff were awesome. Too bad I couldn't spend more time with you guys over there in the corner. Would have loved to have met all those people. Congrats on the car show, snaggin #2 out of all those nice cars has to be a really nice feeling! :yesnod:

guys I missed it!!! :cry :cry :cry the gf proposed we make a deal for sunday since we tied up all of saturday with my family's annual ho-down at the ranch--we had to take her niece and nephew to the florida state fair. I figured since they tucker out quickly each year it wouldn't be a problem but we didn't get on the 75 toward bradenton speedway till after 4. I probably saw a lot of you guys heading north on your way home. when I got to the speedway, the breathless truck was the only vehicle left. :cry :cry :cry I really wanted to meet up with you guys! I guess our races are the next possible event, I hope to see you all there (here)!

It was a great time! The races were a blast. Ernie's was running in the 9s. Vstella was getting 12s. And I got to see five vettes completly die at the line early in the day     Not a good day for them... oh and in qualifying I watched a Camaro SS blow away a Viper... I would have stopped right there. Vstella is working on getting his videos up.

While most of the guys were busy taking pics of the cars...... I was trying to get shots of the honeys. Granted they were posing with a banner from somewhere else, and therefore I can not post a direct link... I'll email you the URL if you can't decode it from this message. :blueangel:

And which SS would that have been??? :blueangel:

Haha, my hats off to Ernie and Breathless for a complete turn-around from last time. I had absolutely no complaints this time. The track was there all day long and the event was spelled out to all competitors before anyone made a pass. Great job guys, and thanks for the trophies again. :)

Oh yeah.. check out the new best with the Norris Motorsports H/C...

11.3@119 on a 1.60 sixty foot! :smash: :smash:

Thanks again goes out to Mike, he's got a stellar package going! :yesnod:

Folks...

The event was awesome. This was my first time on the track and I had a blast. Needless to say I have some shifting and reaction times to improve not to mention the use of some decent tires and maybe turning up the boost on the turbo's.

It was GREAT to meet MeanGreen and some of the other Forum members. I'll keep an eye out for other forum events and hope to say hello in person again. The tent and drinks were awesome. Are there any Forum T-shirts for sale anywhere??

I'll post some pics and vids when I have more time but here is one of my runs http://www.employees.org/~luigi/LUIGIRUN.AVI

Ernie, CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!. It was great to see all the cars running, showing, and all the folks in attendance. Hopefully a good amount was raised for the Kids. I look forward to the next. (The Bat out of Hell and the Breathless cars are........ Breathless!...) :D
