Jim,
With the weather we had last time, shouldn't that be "fall/winter" skyline drive?  What a blast!

Re: [Event] Skyline Dates! (DAVS Y2K)
Dave,
LOL!
We used to live upstate NY. There, we had just two seasons - snow and bugs!
We're going to do a summer run so we can drop the tops and have a true picnic lunch. That will be the mid summer date. We'll try to pick a date shortly...

Re: [Event] Skyline Dates! (Jim Strathearn)
I am ready. I bought this new Camera Mount for my car last week too. One of those IO Port ones. Same ome Mojo uses. It should get some real good shots out that front window.
But, the 27th is only 5 days after Diane is due to have our newest rat pack member. So, I might miss this Skyline.
Anyone ever taken a 5 day old kid on the skyline before??

Just make sure he has good hearing protection and is strapped in real good. I bet Diane would welcome the break away from the two kids.

Let me think, a 5 day old baby rat strapped in a red rocket at 1G with mother's milk in his/her stomach..!!
I think it might be a bit much, but with your video camera you might be able to catch a left hander while jr. hurls up his/her milk. YUCK.

Re: [Event] Skyline Dates! (jackdaroofer)
Yea, maybe with some luck, the kid won't come until the 28th. But still don't think I should leave the wife all day.
I guess, the ZR-1 will miss this event too. Bummer. But I am young. There will be many more years to enjoy thses great events with all these great people.

The power would be a BIG help as would the wider rear end! Better to block with :blueangel:
Deals gap is shaping up nicely :D
