Looking for 16 inch wheels cheap
Howdy.
I'm looking for 2 16 X 9.5s for drag racing. Low budget; scuffed up, peeling finish etc OK. Posting here hoping I can find some close in and just pick them up.

I have a set of roadracing slicks that are 325x35. These things are sweet but I can't use them, they are too wide at about 12.5 inches. The outside bead to outside bead is 12 in. I also have a set of 23.5x10.5s, they are 10.5 outer bead to bead. Both these sets are shorter than 255x50 so it will have the effect of lowering the axle ratio. I think the wheels I have are incorrect (early) offset and are going to stick out of the wheel wells.

you have a set of 23.5 x 10.5? 23.5 is a short tire. what kind of tire is it?
a 325 road race tire. i'll bet that thing is huge.
the pre 87 rims wont fit a post 88 properly . i'll be on the lookout for something for ya

Thanks big guy.
The short tires are Goodyear Eagle roadracing slicks. The 325s are BFG G-Force TAs. And yes they are wide as all get out. I don't know how good they will be as drag tires tho :confused: They will surely be better than street tires.
