Orlando, FL - Window Tint?

I have already looked into getting my windows tinted here in Orlando. The more I ask around, it seems that nobody can guarantee how the rear glass tint over the dot-matrix will come out. Has anyone has success with any tint shops here in Orlando? Thanks in advance. I am really trying to stay away from the vinyl.

I had good results with the Car Bar on South Orange Ave.

So they tinted over the dots? How is yours holding up?

Yes, they tinted over the dot-matrix; it has only been on for about 5-months but so far so good.

Find a shop that will either wet sand the dots with 800grit or uses Elmers Blue Gel on the dots after putting the film up on the window.

I've used the Elmers glue when tinting a few cars around ATL. On my own car, I just taped off the dots and tint after the tint was applied and I got a can of black spray paint and got it done. It's all black and looks great.

Tims custom tint on s.obt has done all my cars (even over the dots) and its held up fine (uses llumar)

On my 350Z it held up fine over 2 years.

I think it was 20% Solargard but I would have to check my paperwork to be certain. I did watch the guy do the install and he applied some type of additional glue over the dot matrix to make sure the tint would adhere well.
