Need help with check engine light
Hey Guys & Gals,
Need help finding a shop that can tune out the check engine light in my 02 vert in the Rock Hill, SC, Charlotte, NC area. I recently installed Kooks long tube headers and a new x-pipe that did away with the cat converters. Of course, now that the cats are gone the check engine light stays on. (The O2 sensors at the headers are still in place) It is my understanding from the main C5 forum that a shop with an HP tuner can tune the check engine light out. Anyone out there ever face this problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Hey I have kooks headers with high flow cats also . I got my installed last nov and i have not had this problem but based on what i have read I think a tuner would be able to solve your problem. I know that check engine light is driving your crazy because for last couple months my sensors have been going bad , air inlet and knock sensors , so i had them replaced.
