By popular demand we will have a Sunday cruise to the Hills August 8th. This will be the last run before Auto Fair. It is always cooler in the mountains so bring it on.
We will meet at the Belmont Welcome Center I-85 exit 26 @ 10:00 AM and will pull out at 10:30 and meet the Hickory guys at Lowes Foods store on 127 South in Hickory.
When we group up, we’ll head for the hills. The route will travel Hwy old 18 to Morganton, Hwy 181 and the parkway to Little Switzerland and back by Lake James where we will have a late lunch about 3:00 PM. Eat a big breakfast and bring along some snacks to hold you over until lunch.
As always please gas up, Check those tire pressures, and bring your Radios (channel 7) and Cameras. Get ready for some “Spirited Driving”
If you have any questions or suggestions, give me a shout.

Man.....I'd love to go. I wish it was Saturday. Sunday is church day
I just drove up there and had lunch at the Bear Creek Marina today. I talked to one of the head guys, Patrick, and told him there might be a few Vettes dropping in for lunch (weather permitting). Don't forget to order some Fried green beans with his special dip, outstanding.
Thanks to all that went on our MC cruise. You SC guys just found out we have some great mountain runs in NC so join us any time. You Sally's that would rather coffee and "BS" should drive sometime. That's why they built Corvettes.
