First- good news: (at least for the CI-3 schedule): The repaving has been delayed until at least 6/2!
And the report: the Dragon was perfect today. Red90sixspeed, a non forum member in a new Nissan Sentra SER SpecV (long name), and I ran the gap about 5 pm. Many bikes and a few cool sportscars were seen- including an Audi TT, 3rd and 1st gen Rx7's on autocross tires, S2000, an RV, and a lunatic in mid 80's Thunderbird that thought he was Michael Schumacher. There were at least two sportbike wrecks needing ambulances in the short time we were there. :( Please be careful, especially on a bike...
Russ might have a word of advice on parking brake operation :jester
Great time today at the gap. I had some fun with several cars, caught up with one bike but backed off for a few minutes and let him get ahead a bit. For those of you familiar with the gap I got air at the gravity cavity and did about 3 or 4 miles worth of 9/10ths driving. Thats all I can stomach at once but the rest was mostly 7/10ths driving. Besides, I had to keep slowing down to 'LET' TennLee catch up :D :p:

Gee, thanks Lee  We stopped at the overlook on our way out and I didnt get my brake set good so after exiting my car and talking for a few minutes some guys on bikes yelled out to me that my car had decided to finish the trip on its own. I ran and caught it in time.

Re: 4/7 Deal's Gap Report (TennLee)
We were there on Saturday (4/6) and had perfect weather. You may have heard about our trio: C5, Porsche, and a yellow Viper (that woke everybody up that morning).
