Default Cam Installation

Looking for either some local vendors (SC/NC/GA) or local's to do a Cam and Valve Spring install for me..

Called two local shops here, one quoted me $1,900 and the other $1,934. I'm very mechanically inclined but this is my first Corvette so I'm a little hesitant about doing it myself.

If any local's have experience doing this I'll pay for your time and even include the beer. I'd like to do the work myself but want someone who has done this a few times to be there for guidance.

Did the price quoted above include parts or was that just labor? Feel free to shoot me an email and Ill put together an itemized estimate for you to review.

That was just labor. (Included fluids I believe)

I planned on buying everything from TSP and having it installed. Looking at a 231/236 LSA 111 Cam with the EHT dual springs and pushrods and purchasing the gaskets also.

Ron; whats your email and I'll shoot it over to you.

Just labor??? WOW!!! I need to rethink our shop fees. We charge $675.00 for a camshaft swap (labor only)

We would be happy to provide all of your parts as well. We have a great line up of camshafts with 100s if not 1000s of reviews all over the net.

My email address is Ron@VengeanceRD.com
