NoVa Dealer Review
I went to Sterling Chevrolet today to get my oil changed. After hearing so many negative reports about Chevy dealers, I was expecting the worst. I'm happy to say that everyone there was courteous and professional. Most importantly, the only indication that they had even touched my car was that my oil life indicator read 100%. I understand this was a very minor service, but if I ever require anything more substantial, I will definitely take my Vette to them first.
BTW - Oil change ran $66 and change. From what I've read, that sounds about the going price for a dealer.
Sterling Chevy burned us once but atleast fixed our problem. service was terrible and they left the car unlocked in the parking lot with missing body panels. :mad
Pohanka is a complete joke, had our car there over and over replacing parts and they never found it was a bad ECM which I replaced and car has ran great ever since.
This is good to know and I have taken my C5 to them for inspections - I live 2 miles away.
That said, they are a small dealer and I don't know how high their experience level is with C5's.
I have been told that Pohanka's has one of the top C5 Techs in the country.
That also said I had some warranty work done at Criswells in GBurg Md (new headlight bezels, new rear main seal, engine running a little rough) and Joe Hughes, one of the C5 Techs did a fine job. :smash:
