Default Marion Arkansas Car show 5/14/2011

I attended a "Show & Shine" car show held at Holly Chevrolet in Marion Arkansas this past Saturday. It was a overcast and cool day but it was a really nice show. There were about 60 cars of all types. I took pictures of the cars that caught my attention. Enjoy the pictures.

SSB Callaway GS

Wil Cooksey Z06

TR C5 coupe

Red C3

Good job Tim. Bill (Callaway owner) and I were talking and we are almost in agreement that SSB is almost a mix of JSB and CG. And to my eye, it didn't look quite as blue as they show up on my monitor. SSB is starting to grow on me but I still like CG the best.
Thanks for the shots. (I am one of the admins on FGC/Facebook-Marty).

Wow! Small world Marty! I was FGC/facebook last night..No problem, I enjoyed taking the pictures. However, I agree with you about the SSB being a mix of CG and JSB. I really like the SSB color more in person..

I just realized which car you were by looking at your avatar. I really like Steve Rays work, I even took a picture of it yesterday. I have the VR Z06, with the bra, that was sitting almost straight across from you.

I figured out who you were by the VR Z06 in your profile too... I noticed your Z06 and was looking to see who owned it...Thanks for the compliment on the vette. Steve does great work indeed....I did not take any pictures of my vette (figure I had enough of them already). LOL

Thanks for posting the pics. It was a nice show, just a little cool. We huddled up beside the building directly behind your car all day. I noticed the artwork and other mods on your car. Nicely done!

Thanks for posting Tim. We have to get together here really soon.

I saw several of these cars coming back into MEM during the afternoon hours. I did not know about the show, but the cars I did see were "top shelf" cars and I knew there was one somewhere nearby.

Again, thanks for posting and I will see you soon.

Mike,

Thanks for the compliments on the car! I am sorry I did not get a chance to meet you personally. I noticed your user name and the tag on the red C3 vert. Is that your car? Very nice one and love the LS1 running gear in it...
