Pictures are up from the Picnic!

Re: Pictures are up from the Picnic! (RedHot)
I would have the same problem in my '77. Would be driving down the hiway and the volt meter would max out. The engine would die from lack of juice at idle. Then nothing, I mean absolutely no electricity to any thing. Sit for 10 minutes the power would come back and it would start up fine. When I did an engine rebuild, the wiring harness to the starter etc. was replaced along with the starter. No longer exhibits the problem. Could have been the starter solenoid that opened up from the heat breaking the circuit or a fusible link gone bad..

If you could make my rims looked like the polished look, so I can see if I want to go to the high polished that would be cool. Then I could look at my car and see if it would be worth it to go high polished Y2K's. If not, no big deal I could just try and find a car with the polished on it already.

You could have your current rims stripped and polished. Cheaper than buying another set.

Enjoyed seeing new faces and those I knew! I especially appreciate the push start...how embarrassing to be in a caravan and can't move. Oh well...such is the life of a classic car owner. Thanks for the grillin' Phil! :D
