thanks again for referring them...i actually ended up going to another dealership first, just in case, and they verified that the hubs needed replacement...they replaced both right ones under warranty and all is good now ...i will definitely keep those guys in mind though, they sent me an email over the weekend to see when i wanted to bring my car in and they called me this morning as well...customer service seems to be in tact just based on that

Do not take your car to the CORVETTE SPECIALIST in Miami

I took a C5 there for them to fix the rocker panels scratches and to lower the car to the standard C5 height because the suspension springs were replaced. To make the story short, Ernie the incompetent mechanic low the car all the way to the bottom and between him and his assistant end up breaking one of the rocker panel and RON did not want to take responsibility.

RON is very smart, in a friendly way he will try to take most money out of you, they overrated the work hours and do not provide clear estimates causing this overcharges.

-RON refused to accept debit or credit card demanding cash for a $500 invoice

-Do they know about corvette ? - They been doing it for 50 years, Yes

-Is RON a cro ? - I will said he is slick, he know how to take the most out of you.

-Will I recommend them ? - NO

-Why they act this way ? - Because they assume you have money to spend.

-Is Ernie incompetent ? - Maybe not, but he get angry very easily and do not understand that the person that paid is the one that commands.

-Don't get me wrong, they are very good doing body shop work as they have done to a previous C6 I had but for the mechanic side do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

At the end I had to take the car out of there and have another body shop fix the correct height, till today I still do not understand why it is so difficult for them to do exactly what I ask for.

I was shopping around and their shop came up... Reliability, competency and integrity are a few traits that are hard to find the further south you get in Florida.

(i just realized I revived a post from 2 years ago... sorry... )

I called "Vette Xperts" last year to put in my exhaust. (easy bolt on, B&B Bullet). They first had no idea what I was talking about when I said B&B Exhaust. I was placed on hold and the guy on the phone yelled for someone else to pick up. He said "Yeah, we have never done one but come by we will put yours in. $300 labor." I honestly started to laugh out loud a little bit.

Avoiding that place for sure.
