Tire help in Cocoa
I know there are a lot of people on here that live on the space coast so I am hoping someone here can help me. I am looking for a place that will install my tpms sensors without chopping off an arm in the process. Dealer wants 180 to take the tire off, install tpms, and remount and balance. Discount tire, tire kingdom, etc all want the same give or take a few bucks. The messed up part is Discount tire will take the tire off, fix a flat and remount for free. There has to be someone around here that can do this for a reasonable amount of money. Everyone I talked to says that it is because of the level of difficulty in programming the sensors. I reply with it is a 00 vette. You stick a magnet on the wheel when the DIC tells you to. The guy at the local tire kingdom said he had to hook his computer to my car to program the tpms. I know there is the vette doctors in Melbourne but they dont work on the weekends. Anyone have any reliable shops I can go to.
