[ATLANTA] Plugging for DragonCon
It's Labor Day Weekend again this year, so I suppose all of you will be in Bowling Green instead of Peachtree Street, but DragonCon approaches once more.
It's the World's Second-Largest Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Comic Book convention.

I thought this kind of post is supposed to go in the OFF TOPIC section. What does this have to do with our beloved Corvettes? Unless you were going to drive the vette to this event.

Matt.....I've been outta comics for about 5 years or so but the last big convention I attended was the big one in Chicago, way cool show :D
a old friend of mine and I actually had several interviews we conducted published.....got to meet and talk to and interview Jeff Smith, Todd McFarlane, Terry Morre, Coleen Doran, Mike Mignola and Mike Allred, just to name a few :)
All time favorite artist is Neil Gaiman and the comic Sandman....still have several collectibles and the entire series :)
May have to seriously consider the show :)

But Larry, think of the photo opportunites! The Dawn Look-alike contest...the Miss Klingon Empire pageant...all the pale, fat, scuzzy looking white guys in t-shirt, jeans, and combat boots, all the Jedi, Stormtroopers, Elvira impersonators, satanic cultists...
The guest list isn't complete yet. Last year, Anthony Daniels was the MC. Alexandra Tydings was there, Claudia Christian was there...Peter Jurasik and Andreas Katsulas...Michael Lisner...
Ah, well, I'll probably be in Bowling Green too. But I might get confused. If you see a 'Vette driver stomping around in a 'Terminator' outfit complete with sunglasses and spiky haircut, wave.
