Even though you tested our sense of direction with two count them two wrong turns we still had a great time hanging out with our friends. :yesnod:

Glad you all did good. How was 211 Jack? Did you win the race to the top?
You would have been proud of me! DD and DY2k, challenged but I held them off! :D
I may not be fast, but I can be wide! :reddevil
Hope you and Diane are getting some sleep, we missed you on the trip

I think it has to do with eye sight. Please get it checked before the Gap run. I'd feel much safer taking that route with you and your glasses Jack.
How many days now??

Several years ago, I learned a great strategy for winning from a fellow named Rhyne Durene. And I have applied it to road racing
Rhyne was a relieve pitcher for the NY Yankees. Now Rhyne was kinda like a C4 vs a GS or a C5. He could throw around 90 while the others could throw over a hundred!
But Rhyne had a strategy
First he wore glasses thicker than the bottom of coke bottles and when he came to the mound in relief, he would look all around yelling for the catcher!
The catcher would yell back and eventually Rhyne would turn and face in the general direction of home plate.
Rhyne would wind up and throw his first practice pitch as hard and fast as he could...generally toward third base. Meanwhile the batter in the box is taking all this in!
Rhyne's next practice pitch, after the catcher yelled at him again, would come real close to home plate...just about at the spot the batters head would be!
After two or three more pitches the upmhire would declare time back in and the batter would nervously approach the batter's box.
When Rhyne wound up and released the ball, the batter would immediately sink to his knees and cover his head!
Strike One!
So. Leo, you can expect me to wear even thicker glasses at Deals Gap! Ask for help finding my car and have a lot of trouble getting the key in the ignition!:reddevil ;)

No Mike didn't show up, so we talked about him a lot! :blueangel:
Ed, do you think the thick glasses will work in autocross? I expect not except that it might be tough to find volunteers to man the course and set up the cones I knock over! :blueangel:

Well Jack it looks like I have to rely on the driving lessons taught to me by my late grandpappy. He once knew this fine gentleman by the name of Goggles last name doesn't matter. :jester The main feeling was what was behind him didn't matter it was only the objects in front, and that won't be for long!! Can't wait for the cruise in. Glad to see everyone had fun.
Damn :reddevil Ed if I would have remembered about the Hooters thing on Battlefield I would have been there. DD reminded me of it but my memory is starting to deteriorate like Jacks, AADD. Forgot all about it, took the wife out for seafood at lunch.

Yea I tried to make a few runs on Jack but I didn't want to push my car home. No rear tires = No traction. I probably couldn't have passed him anyway he was cookin.
It was a long dang trip but worth every minute, great seeing such a great turnout. Alot more low key with that C5 spinning out early.

Tina and I had a a great time, Jack. I think she's hooked. Shoulda heard her on that little stretch of 33 coming home ;). Only had time for a "WHOA". LOL.
DD, tell Michelle that Tina has retired those pants to grass-cutting duty only...but she's free to come over and watch me do yard work and laugh all day long. I'm just wondering why your '94 seems to have 20 more horsepower when she's driving. :reddevil :blueangel: :jester

You don't realize this but DD and I have been raised properly. We like to let our "elders" go first!
Ed, thanks for the pass. I was going to say sorry you couldn't make it but dang, looks like you weren't too bored huh? Now that is what Hooters babes should look like!
