Wounded Warrior Project Cruise Planning

The idea of the cruise is to raise money for this non-profit organization to assist our nation's war wounded as they attempt to transition back into civilian life, and to assist their families as they make the assimilation.
The cruise will likely begin around Hickory and I-40, with a tentative stop at the VA Hospital in Asheville to see vets and their families. Then onto the mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway for some curve-testing.
This ride will be open to anyone who desires to come, donate a little something to the cause and remember those who have served, possibly giving life and/or limb for freedom. Corvette ownership is not required.
Feel free to post with ideas, locations, veterans you would like to honor, etc.
I will be riding to honor the memory of USMC LCpl. Nicholas S. O'Brien of Stanley, NC who died of injuries from an IED in the Helmand Province June 9, 2011.
His fire partner, LCpl. Josh Cawthorn is from Asheville and was severely wounded in the same blast.
More details as they become available will be posted.
