Well, it's been a good ride, lots of fun and lots of money, but the end has come. Sold my highly modified C6 and bought a 2012 Camero 2SS/RS triple black convertible.
Stepping away from a 751/700 rwhp/tq vette was not easy, but I built my fantasy car, showed it and raced it.
Thanks to all my friends on the CF for your suggestions and information. I will still check the CF to see what's new and exciting.
BTW, already ordered headers, exhaust, cold air intake and lined up a tune.
The good thing is I will be able to see the car, and perhaps drive it once and a while because the new owner is Roger Preston of Horsepower Sales, who, incidentally, was the one who helped me build it.
Roger and Jeremy said they'd take real good care of the car
Just ordered the LG header/cat/muffler set up, K&N cold air intake, lowering springs. Jeremy will tune and dyno it.
A new era/build begins
I sold my C5 a few years ago and bought a new 2010 2SS/RS M6 last year. Jeremy Formato has done all of my work, and even though the car is heavy and aerodynamically challenged, it's fun to drive. Obvioulsy a totally different ride than a vette. Jeremy's hooking me up with a Fast intake next week and then I'm swapping the gears out for 4:11's. I don't track the car, so I'm really looking for torque and good powerband. So far, very happy. Good luck.
Mike
HP mods: Comp Cam (227/235 .614/.623 114+4), Underdrive pulley, Fastlane CAI, Fasterproms ported intake and throttle body, Kooks w/hi-flow cats, GHL catback. Tune by Jeremy Formato.
HP: 463 TQ: 427

At this point just doing Stage One add-ons. Not sure I really want to go all out like I did on the Vette. Besides, waiting to see what the C7 looks like, or in other words, this may just be a temporary ride
my wife has a 2010 SS Camero, black on black, very nice ride, but she doesn't use the power or the paddle shift... but she loves it and thats all that matters... enjoy your new beginnings,,but we all know you'll be back again...
