Default Vettes Doing Charleston!!!

5th Annual “Vettes Doin Charleston”

Please join us on April 21st in beautiful historic Charleston, SC for our 5th Annual ALL CORVETTE SHOW sponsored by the Coastal Carolina Corvette Club. What a beautiful time to visit Charleston as our town will be in full bloom and the gardens, plantations and weather will be amazing! I am sure that many of the clubs are making plans for the 2012 show season and I want to make sure that Charleston, SC is on your list.

We will have eight Classes including all generations. We will be offering Peoples Choice Judging as well as Scored Judging this year. To enter the Scored Judging there will an additional fee of $5.00 and you can enter both portions of the show. There will be show pins, more than Forty plaques plus trophies for Best of Show, Best Engine, Best Interior, Best Paint, along with door prizes. In addition there will be vendors, National Corvette Museum items for sale, and entertainment. The show is being held at the Tanger Outlet Center http://www.tangeroutlet.com in North Charleston, South Carolina. This year’s show is limited to the first 250 registrants.

Beginning January 21st, pre-registration can be done at our website http://www.4cccc.org by clicking the tab "Vettes Doin' Charleston". You can pay by PayPal or mail in your registration form with a check. Pre-registration is $25.00 and add additional $5.00 if you are doing the Scored Judged show and pre-registration will end on March 31st. After March 31st the registration fee will be $30. Show t-shirts will be available as a pre-order only at $15 and they will not be sold at the show. Proceeds from the show will benefit the National Corvette Museum.

Trailered Corvettes must be off-loaded outside of the show area and must be driven through the registration station onto the show lot. Trailer parking will be offered near the show area. Due to parking limitations we will not be able to honor requests for clubs to park together. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

For all pre-registrants there will be a Meet and Greet Affair on Friday night April 20th at our host hotel with complementary cookout & soft drinks. The Host Hotel and Show Headquarters is the Holiday Inn Charleston Airport & Convention Center (www.holidayinn.com/chastnairport) located at 5264 International Blvd., North Charleston, SC 29418 which is near the show site. Call 843-576-0300 for reservations and special rates and tell them you are with the Coastal Carolina Corvette club show (group code CCC).

For a list of other local hotels and other details please see our website.

I have to say that my wife and I are extremely jealous of those of you living in the Charleston area. We just arrived today and are loving it here, staying at the Mills House. Nicest ppl. We've ever met, spent Sat - today at The Tides in Folly Beach.
Saw a white chrome bumper coupe coming through here last Sat morning that looked and sounded great.
Sorry to hijack your thread but will have to install ac then come back in the 72.

Last count CCA has 14 cars going, plus a few from another local club. Looking for good places to eat that can handle 30+ people at a time.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks

So is there a pre show get together, I mean I know Friday night is a gathering for pre-registrants but aside from that? And is there anything going on afterward, like a cruise somewhere or a dinner plan where everyone will meet up and dine in?

Basically I'm curious if I should stay the night, even though I live in Columbia.

Edit: One more thing, I didn't see this on the advert or anywhere really about guys who want to park with same gen vettes but don't want to be judged. Is that an option or is it separate parking for non registrants?
