Default Corvette EXPO

Corvette EXPO, Sevierville Tn. one month away.
I can't wait.
We'll be setting up the road tour in about a week.
We are currently planning on ending at the same restaurant as last fall.
http://www.corvetteexpo.com/

The main road has been widened out so traffic should not be as big a problem as in the past.

We just ran the cruise route this morning. It's about 55 miles and ends at a great restaurant. It's pretty much the same route we did last fall. Most folks that make this run really enjoy it. We're proud to say no one got lost last year and we only had one car that had a problem on the road. (no headlights). I hope the weather for EXPO is as good as it is today. 65 and no clouds.

Looking forward to it. I'll be there in a Centennial Z06. Look me up.

Really miss the old Expo shows in Knoxville for so many years. Been going for over 25 years plus. Was in a bad part of town, granted. But it just isn't the same in Sevierville. Traffic, traffic, more traffic, impossible to get around, roads always torn up. Just a shame the Coopers had to move the event, but understandable.

After last year, with the roads all torn up and the rain, my Z06 was trashed, along with the other 8 cars in our club group. So we are staying away for a year or two.

We had alot of good times in Knoxville as well! My thinking is Sevierville would drawl lots more people. The traffic does suck...but knoxville traffic does too! The facility is great....The road from the interstate to the Events Center is back together now. Rather nice. Save the wave!

Yeah, the road work near the events center is finished. There is still some work going on nearer the Interstate. Be sure to mind the speed limit where the construction is being done.

All in all the traffic situation should be much much improved.
Yeah I miss Chillhowee park too.

However we didn't have the Friday noight cruise when the event was in town, and many folks really like that part of the show.

I'm looking forward to the cruise. With a 55 mile cruise, we should hit some good curves.

How about that rain forecast? I know the show's inside, but a lot of fun is outside (including the cruise). Somebody get that rain out of there.

So far the forcast is a slight chance of rain both days with highs in the 70's............always subject to change.

Sorry guys, I had to bail on this one. 8 hour drive up with two dogs and 80% chance of rain Friday (going up the TOD) just didn't sound like a good trip. I've kept my cabin reservations, but moved to October Expo. Y'all have a great time. See you in October.
