Just moved to Daytona Beach area last month, and want to know if anyone would drive their vette on the beach. Been on the beach a couple of times (walking) and I haven't seen any on the sand. Would or wouldn't you drive on the beach?
I don't drive the Vette on the beach. I'm more concerned about the heavy concentration of salt in the air than about the sand. It tends to make a real mess of everything -- seats, wheels, paint, windows. Until recently, I'd take the Amigo (Isuzu's jeep). It had 4-wheel drive, removable top, cheap, but durable interior, and most important -- cost a heck of a lot less than the Vette.
