I see several Vettes in the Monroe, NC area. Not looking to put a "club" together, but it would be great to get to know some other Vette owners in this area. Anyone interested?
I'm on the east side of Charlotte but always interested in meeting and getting to know other Corvette (and car) guys. Are there any "Cruise-ins" in the Monroe area? That is always a good way to meet others with the same obsession (cars)...
City of Monroe has some during the summer... not sure about the Fall. I'm sure there are others... the Monroe Mall use to have a group there during the week, but haven't seen them lately. Cars of all sorts at that one. I'll post up or send a pm if/when I find out more.

Thanks... Like Horsecop13 said, I am always ready for a cruise to nowhere...
I am from Monroe, NC. My car is down right now. I am in the process of installing a sound system. A great place to meet others is Cars and Coffee in Charlotte. I haven't went since they moved to the new meeting place. Also, there is a car group that gets together at Chilis in Monroe on Wednesday nights around 6:30ish-8. There have been a few old school vettes and there is a mix of new muscle and old muscle along with antiques.
yel02low, that one at Chili's is the one I was thinking of that sets up in the mall area. Haven't been by in a while. But thanks for the reminder.
The "Cars and Coffee" one sounds good. That'll go on the schedule now that I don't have to work Saturdays.
After Labor Day, may post a gathering and see what happens. We've been on some great roads northeast of this area and found a great little place for breakfast.
Its coming up tomorrow so kind of late notice for most, cars start piling in around 3:30 and they usually do a burnout contest at 9 which is sometimes entertaining and interesting to watch!
I've been to the Oakboro cruise-in a couple of times. There were not many Corvettes but there is always lots of eye candy... A great time is had by all. If it weren't the wife's birthday I would be there. Maybe she will want to go if I mention it.
Check out the Rutherford County Corvette Group on Face book not a club free to join and they do a lot of things together. About 70 members so far and they have club t shirts.
