Come join the Greater New Orleans Corvette Club at our 21st all corvette car show in Slidell , La at Bayou Country Village October 20th 2012. On Friday Oct 19th we have a Louisiana style preregistered party at the Host Hotel Hampton Inn with a tremendous amount of food cooked by some really awesome members and cajun chefs. On Saturday the show happens very near the Hampton at Bayou Country Village , last year 178 vettes and our charity is the Metro Center for women and children. We are known for the best ditti bags and hospitality in the south, dash plaques, participation plaques, show t-shirt, friday night food and a great day with corvettes . At the Friday night registration party, any chance of having real, authentic Cajun chow, or will it all be "store bought"?
Also, some of us Florida Rednecks want to transport some "Boudin *****" back to the homeland. Any deli's close by??

Members cook all the food themsevles. I will be cooking Pastaliya in the hotel parking lot. Hot n Fresh ,Yum.
Ask someone that lives in Slidel where is the best boudin. They will know.

No, we import it from florida where the good food comes from ( not, lol)

I get mine from too far away but here are two in slidell that I have not tried and one 25 miles away down I 12 that I have had . It is not rocket science though, can get recipes online too.
