Looking for a mechanic
My boss lives in Memphis. I'm tring to help him find a good corvette mechanic in or around the Memphis Tennessee area. He has a 1974 convertible. Any suggestions I could give this guy? Thanks for your help.

Don knows his stuff an won't fix anything that's not broke. Don's the only guy I've let work on my Vettes ,period ! He's located on Pleasant View East of Covington Pike .He's also a Corvette owner .Tell him I sent ya .

You should also know about Chuck Woodall. Chuck owns Front Street Vintage Auto on (of all places) Front Street in downtown Memphis. Chuck works on all types of vehicles. He did lots of work for me until I moved to Birmingham recently. He is a former Corvette owner, a former certified Chevrolet mechanic and a first class guy. He not only does mechanical work he does body work and paint as well. Chuck is located at 477 South Front Street, Memphis 38103
As a plus, going to his shop is like going to a car show. Last time I was there he had a Cobra, Viper, '62 Corvette, '76 Corvette, '69 Camaro, '64 Hemi Dodge, Ford A Model, '57 Thunderbird, and others that I cannot remember. By the way, he is also an excellent motorcycle mechanic and rider.
