Daytona Int'l

This year was the first time they had an HPDE in April.
For the past about 6 years there have been several events in the fall - a couple in October and one in December.
The October events have racing sessions in between the HPDE sessions, and commonly the racing sessions mess up the track and the HPDE sessions lose track time. Also, they don't allow novice drivers.
However, the HPDE in December is a fantastic event, and it's very novice driver friendly. It's organized by 2 groups - an Audi club from Ohio, and Performance Driving Group.
Here's a link to PDG's website - click on "Events" and you'll see the Daytona event is scheduled for December 6, 7, and 8:

You can run 1, 2, or all 3 days.
The HPDE track days at Daytona are quite expensive - about twice as much as at any other track. It costs the sponsors a huge amount to rent the Daytona Int'l Speedway!!
Butt....it's a track MADE for high HP cars!!! We run the Rolex 24 roadcourse, which includes essentially the entire tri-oval.
Below is a video of my C6 Z06 running the event several years ago.
C'ya at the track!!
