Any one know of a trust worthy machine shop within driving distance of Richmond va that can rebuild my ls7 heads. Theyre in the box getting ready to go to wcch but I'd much rather get it done locally so I can get the car back together
The shop is in Glen Allen behind his house, he and his guys do excellent work at a very fair price. They build mostly circle track stuff (had great luck working on cars powered by dozens of his motors) but I had him do a 383 LS1 for my Corvette that was a powerhouse.
Abacus racing in Virginia beach did a little bit of work for me and did a lot of work for a friend of mine.
They have a very well equipped shop from what I could see, Im going to go back if/when I need any more work done.
Lewis bar at LA engineering pit the valves and valve guides in. Its prolly got 1000 miles since then and then and it didn't fly all to hell so I guess he did a good job
