If we leave Ft Myers at 08:30 we will be in Sarasota around 9:30 to 9:45? If we leave Sarasota at 10:00 we would be at the track 10:30???.

Yes, but arriving at 9 A.M. would set Pompano to depart at 5 A.M. which I don't see them doing so. The judging officially starts at noon, so even if we arrive at 11 A.M. at the latest, we will still have time to check in, park, wipe down in time for judging. We should be there a little bit before 11. I set the Sarasota meet up for 30 mins, but I can shorten that if people are ready to leave. It's a 20 min drive from Sarasota to the track.

This is correct, my latest post shows the schedule for FL2K. Their first event (dyno) doesn't start until 10 A.M. but that lasts until 4 P.M. A 10:30-10:45 arrival will still give us time to check in, park and go about all the scheduled events.

I would like to show up earlier, but with the whole rally being approx 4 hr 30 mins, it's difficult to set Pompano guys back further.

Can you post a link, please? I believe you, but maybe they updated 1 and forgot the other? I can call to confirm if you'd like me to.

Nick may I suggest moving up the Ft Myers meeting spot to Exit 136? There is a new Race Track which is MUCH larger were talking about 50 to 60 cars this spot would be much better. Just a thought. Exit 136 is SR82 MLK blvd, The Race Track is on the corner of Ortiz and Martin Luther King blvd.

MLK blvd is exit 138. Exit 136 is colonial blvd.

Besides the racetrac at exit 131 has that rest area that connects the two so room shouldn't be a problem. Just my 2 cents.

Sounds good to me. I was with a couple of friends who said the Area on Daniels was very small and not much room? I was going by what they said? Yes it was a typo the exit is 138 they have a new Race Track that is supposed to have a large parking area? I really don't care where we meet I/we will be there. Thanks.

I went to the exit 138 Race Track last night. Yes, it's much larger and would of been a better location to accommodate 40-50 cars. I was not expecting such a large turnout, hence why I chose exit 131. Also I wasn't aware of that new gas station, I don't venture off that far north often

For this run, I will keep it as is, we're 3 days away and trying to notify everyone of a change on location, may leave a few people out. A good majority of this rally was known through word of mouth from friends of friends. I feel some people would be left out and scrambling to find out where we are. I'm trying to keep this as organized as possible.

What I will do today is create a map for where everyone should park at the gas station and mark off spots. I'll update you guys as I do so.

Thanks,

Nick

Haha! I get about 4-5 hours of sleep. I was up since 2 AM! Just one of the sacrifices being made to grow a company, while trying to produce income on the side lol. Tough cycle

Wow that does sound tough. I would imagine that would put a crimp on (well I'll be nice) your social agenda.
