Default New in town......

Just dropping a quick note to introduce myself to a new CF section. After retiring in March, the wife and I have now transplanted ourselves to southern Florida after 60+ years in the Northeast.

We came from Long Island where we participated in Northeast section and went on many cruises with many friends we have made over the years. I drive a 2004 Coupe, Mag Red, MN6 and it has been heavily modified over the years by my great friends over at The Vette Doctors.

Raced many a 1/4 mile at Englishtown and Atco raceways and even broke a few things along the way :-) Even tried a few road courses where the Vette really excels.

My hobbies include NY Giants and NY Rangers sports events (actually still own NY Giants Season Tickets/PSL), reading, working out with my daughter and through the years developed a pretty good knack at performance tuning our favorite rides. Have experience with HPTuners as well as EVILive with bolt-ons to twin turbo setups. Worked at The Vette Doctors for 9 months before heading down here after Carmen, co-owner and head calibrator retired and Anthony was learning the ropes.

Well enough about me. Hope to see some of you as we become acclimated to our new Vette Country

Ed M

Thank you for the contacts, will come in handy as we settle in. Also interested in PBIR as did some racing in the northeast.

Looks like Howard from RedLine Motorsport is starting an LS Challenge Drag race series which we also had up north. I know Howard from my days with The Vette Doctors and when he had a shop in upstate New York. Will definitely catch-up with him as well.

Glad to help fellow member and New Yorker.

Here is another place you might like to get cup coffee on Sunday, and another speed shop shows up called Redline.

Thanks Rick, got your PM as well and are responding. Will be great to have a shop to hang at. Miss the days with Carmen and Dennis up north. Carmen and Howard used to do marathon tuning at Carlisle each year and we would help in the tent. Got to tuning a bit in the early days and before I knew it was doing 1000 HP TT's.......pretty neat getting that power to the street, while being able to drive through a parking lot :-) Carmen since retired (February) and I helped out during the transition with the new tuner. I am an accomplished Greg Banish disciple as well and love the Howard and Greg threads.

Hope to see you soon and get back the smell of burnouts and race gas :-)

It was great meeting you Ed over here at Redline-Motorsports, and before SEMA.
I'll look forward to seeing you again soon. Rick

I know we'll see each other again soon at one of the upcoming venues.
