Going through some old papers in one of my Corvettes, I found an old route/map from when we had met for a drive, then brunch. This was probably back in 2005 or 2006. Anyways, those were good times, and the group of Corvettes for those Sunday drives, usually numbered 12-15.
Perhaps after Sunday Cars & Coffee in Fair Lakes, using that as the launch point, a drive from there, through the twistys, the back way to Hopsfrog Tavern might be in order again?
Anyways, seemed to have good numbers before with the drives/brunch. Just a thought, as I am in Northern VA one or two weekends, every few mos. and would be glad to join the fun FWIW, I saved the map.
Hopsfrog has really gone down hill. Strongly recommend the Fireside Grill, 9000 Lorton Station BLvd, Lorton, which is owned by the same people that own Hopsfrog. We've had several runs that ended up at the Fireside and no one has ever complained.

Interesting point - I haven't been to Hopsfrog since probably 2009, or right before they moved from the original location to the new, smaller one.
Fireside is good, and on a Sunday AM, I bet there is plenty of parking.
I can re-draft the route map if needed, from Cars & Coffee to FSG. Just let me know.

60s yesterday, 30s today and low 30s tomorrow with snow possible. Supposed to warm up toward the end of the week.
I think this winter is going to be a cold one. Not sure how much snow we will get but I'm thinking lots of cold!
May actually open the garage and take the vette out if it gets nice.
Chris, If we were to do something this month when are you in town? I think it's a little cold to be driving on summer tires. Maybe a dinner event one wednesday or thursday this month.

It appears it will be cold well into next week with a few days of snow and ice. oh joy.
Black 2009 1LT. Tint, powder coated wheels, and blackout kit so far. Most likely will only do bolt ons, I went down the race car rabbit hole before with a 600+whp Cobra. Not sure if I'm ready to do it again.
Love the car though!
