Awesome, we'll be in a green LT4 Corvette(C4). My cousin is the owner of that but I think he is a forum member. Say I to him if you want,..i'll probably be around that car likely. This car but it will be using stock gun metal grey ZR1 wheels, not the fikse's this weekend.




Very cool. I have done a few standing mile events in Florida but always in customers or families cars. Can't wait to drive my own. Such a good time to be WOT past a 1/4 mile and not worry about jail.

609hp to be exact and my wife's car with her driving it. No doubt if it were a race you beat her but this is her 2nd event and still shooting for her personal best mph which was this pass and last of the day. You won the "race" she got the mph

 

Uploaded the same vid on youtube from different angle as "lidia's 145mph redemption pass". After her 2nd gear 360!!

 

I'll post here too as I did in other sections on the forum. Mine was the black base C6. Does 640rwhp on a Mustang dyno. Street tires caused me to baby the car off the line. All my speeds were 161-162mph.

Here's some photos along with a video of the event. I had to split into two videos. One is shot with our cell phones. The other is shot with our GoPros. Enjoy

1st part of video is me against Corvette Z06 with ECS supercharger, methanol, cam putting down 680rwhp. He had drag radials to my street tires. I think I did pretty good. Looked like he didn't have to shift into 5th where I did. Z06 164mph me 161mph

Next part is me against my friend's GTR. I got too throttle happy in second and lost ground and started catching him at the end. 159mph him to 161mph me I still got the higher speed than him every time.

Last part is me against Cadillac CTS-V. Destroyed him the whole way. 160mph me to 136mph him.




Here's all those same runs from another point of view. Here's me vs the GT-R again from different point of view. I did 161 to his 159. All my runs were 160mph+. All his runs were just under 160mph. I gave him crap all day about that . Here's the outside view of me against that CTS-V again. Here's the drag radial blown Z06 against me. Close the whole way.




Next video...

Prestige Auto's Lamborghini Gallardo. This car looked and sounded AWESOME!!! He hit 195mph on this pass. Next race is an Alpha Omega GT-R. This car ran over 200mph (just not on this race). The guy was speechless doing the announcments. Last part of the clip was an Underground Racing Lamborghini Gallardo. This was the FASTEST car out there. 226mph on this run I got on video. He did hit 233 IIRC later that day.

Thanks again for letting me feel your wife's "shifter" Her 360 could have been much worse, just one of those things.

 

LOL...just cause you COULD have gotten the MPH on the big end,...a drag race is a drag race. You have the bigger power but....doesn't mean a whole lot if you watch all of my above videos. All the cars we raced out powered us except for maybe the coyote. Awesome time though. Glad to see her out and driving it, I am sure with that kind of power her best is yet to come. Thanks for sharing the video. Here is another angle of a "600plusrwhp" car.....also beat us on the big end,..by over 20mph.
