Default Recommendations for Atlanta area

Relocated to Atlanta area and looking for recommendations for reputable shop for repair. Right now I need a/c compressor replaced for 04 C5. I'm in Dunwoody area. Would like to avoid dealership if possible.

if your looking for a speciality corvette shop,

MTI Racing in Marietta
Vengeance Racing in Cumming
LSXperts in Canton I believe

Good shops that work on alot

TopSpeed Motorsports in Cumming
Speed for Sale in Cumming

There are probably smaller shops that do work on lots of cars, but I personally dont know / visit.

the dealers don't always charge more than other shops and you can guarantee OE parts are used, unless you are shopping on price alone and are ok using second tier parts installed by folks that are going to try to oversell you because they are going to learn on your car. Lots of tuner shops are not really interested in these sort of repairs due to their work load. You can swap your own compressor with hand tools in @ 90 minutes.

I can vouch for MTI - they know what they are doing and will treat you right. Regular maintenance to serious upgrades and all in between. I drive more than 100 miles to go to them.

Give them a call, not sure if they are cheaper than a dealership but at least they are familiar with vettes in general.
