Default MGW shifter request for comparison or test

Hi CF. I recently purchased and installed a MGW shifter. Coming from an S2000 the stock unit was...abysmal. The MGW unit is awesome. But I find that it requires much effort to shift. I was wondering if this is the norm or something is wrong. Is there was anyone in the DC/Baltimore/NoVa that has a MGW shifter installed that I could compare it to?
Ideally a C5 Z06 to compare to would be nice. Thanks.

Just do the anti-venom mod. It'll decrease the effort needed to move between the gates.

Make sure it is not using the stock lower box. If it is change it to the MGW lower box and effort will be about the same as stock but more precise

All good responses, along with the fact that over time the rubber biscuit will soften with age, and be more to your liking. I echo the Venom mod value. I love the MGW, and have it in both our C5 and C6Z cars.

Coming from an S2K - I found that stock shifter very loose and sloppy on my sons S2K...
