There really was a great turn out. About 8 of us "forumers", and a bunch of other vetters. I think I counted 37 Corvettes in all.
You can see Pewter Shooter and Electron Blue 02 (Randall and Alan) in one of the shots, and the "unusual Vette" is a kit car with a LT1 engine. I think the owner said it weighed in at 1900 lbs and runs LOW 11's!
The Shells manager is thinking about doing something for us once a month. I hope so! It is a great way to get together, meet new friends, and most importantly---FREE EATS!!!
Re: A few pics from Shells Restaurant today (shoptek)
Wow, that was cool. The whole restaurant parking lot full of nothing but vettes. "Thanks" to Robert Smith, the manager of Shells (nice silver Z06) for the hospitality. Free food?? Oh, there was one oddball car there, Ernies 996 porsche.
It was nice to meet ElectronBlue02 (Alan, did a motor cop pull you over on 595?). Finally got to meet the lovely Vettechick (Princess of High Octane).
Saw a few familiar faces, amazing how few people now about the forum. I helped educate a few.
Gathered a few more cars for the Homestead cruise next saturday (stay tuned for the details on that).

Lots of fun today, even the rain drops didn't matter. It was great to see everyone and meet some members that I have not meet before. Alot of hot looking Vettes
