Just show up and drive. They'll collect your donation at the gate and give you a wristband that allows you to get out on the track. You can purchase more wristbands once you get inside.

Thanks.... Do they allow you to run hard? Or is it supposed to be nice and easy?

The biggest problem is traffic. There are a lot of cars on the track and there is no passing. But if you get in the right group, you can go pretty hard. I've done a buck 40 on the backstraight.
The Virginia Corvette Club (Lynchburg) will caravan to the Holiday Laps on December 2nd. We are meeting at Penuel Church at 2770 Wards Road, Altavista, VA and leaving there at 8:45 am SHARP. This church is located on US 29, south of Lynchburg and approximately 6.2 miles south of the intersection of US 24 and US 29, on the right hand side of the highway. Any Corvette is welcome to join in the caravan.
Didn't make it to the "Holiday Laps". Any pics/vids available from someone that attended?
There are several on Youtube already. It was more crowded this year than I can ever remember and I've been to about ten Holiday/Charity Laps. I did two sessions in my new GS and then a ride along in my friend's C7Z. I could've got one more in, but I needed to get home.
Thanks to all for the pics. That was a huge crowd. jcsperson, that's a fine looking GS. Was hoping to see the car in person. Maybe I'll catch at the track (VIR) next year.

Thanks, Gene.
I'm up there quite a bit for DEs and as a spectator at races. I usually hang out at the hill overlooking turn 4 and 5. If you see the car drop by and say hello.
Had a nice trip over and enjoyed seeing the track for the first time.
Though I must have gotten really unlucky come track time, as the vehicle around 6-8 spots in front of me was going embarrassingly slow.
Wanted to go a second time, but my first was immediately after the lunch break and needed to get home at a decent time. Better luck next time, I hope.

Thanks jcsperson for posting the info here!
We were in the same session, first one after lunch break - we were in the outer most line - last row to go.
