I just bought new tires for my 05 C6. I need an installer in Jacksonville, FL who can mount the tires on the factory wheels without scratching the chrome at all and can do TPMS repair/service (the batteries in mine are dead). Thanks in advance! I greatly appreciate your help!

I haven't herd of anybody replacing the batteries, in the TPMS, if so let me know, interested.
OEM P/N 25758220, if you didn't know! I wouldn't go with aftermarket, read here forum members had problems.
A couple years ago I bought 2 Bridgestone Potenza's for the rear of my 08 Z06 and had the same problem of finding someone who wouldn't molest the polished wheels and would balance the tires to "0". I took the back tires off myself and took them with me as I didn't want anyone who didn't know what they were doing lifting the car ( I've had some problems in the past and learned the hard way ...).
I called and went by several Tire Kingdoms, Sun Tires, Mom & Pop shops, etc. Most just didn't have a machine that could handle wheels and rims that wide. Finally found a Firestone shop on Blanding Blvd near Orange Park Mall. I gave them specific instructions (without being a jerk ) about please not scratching the rims and please mount the mounting dot on the tire to match up with the valve stem (as manufacturer recommends) and please balance all the way to "0" checking that wheel is concentric on rim. In other words, please do what you are supposed to do anyway !!
Well, I can say that fortunately they did not scratch the rims which was a huge relief. They did not get the matching dot on the sidewall across from the valve stem. They said the tire was too big and they had three guys wrestling it and that was the best they could do. And, the balance feels o.k., but there is a ton of weight that was added to the rims to get them to balance. So overall, I think they did C+ or even B- work. Would I go there again ? Maybe. They didn't scratch the rims and they did, apparently have a machine large enough which seems to be an issue with many shops.
I think you'll have to call around quite a bit. Maybe check some of the Goodyear places.
Lastly, you can try a guy named A.J. at Discount Tire on Beach Blvd near the Beach. I've had him work on my Yukon, an Acura and my wife's Infinity and a few trailers I have. He and his guys have done great work and I will probably check with him first when I need to have the Vette done again. Tell him Dr. Taylor recommended him. Hopefully they have the right machine, and btw they have taken care of 2 different TPMS units for me.
Hope that helps; good luck and let me know if you find someone you like -
Tom
Thanks. Its def been a pain trying to find some. Everything in search on this entire forum turns up with places that no longer exist. I even called some high end specialty shops that claim to handle mercedes, ferrari, etc and they don't have the proper equipment either! (makes you wonder what they do to those high end cars )
I'll keep looking and see what I turn up. I try to avoid Blanding at all costs and i will take my fronts off and carry them up there in the truck when I finally find a place.
If anyone else has suggestions I am open to all! Thanks!

You might want to think about your local Chevrolet dealership, they sell Corvettes and have the proper machines, and labor rate is the same every place you will check.
I buy my own tires and have them shipped to my service writer, and he calls I bring in the car and they install them with no hassle, no up charges.
Just suggestions.
Great suggestion, but I have found that dealerships have messed up my car more than other places, so I have always been weary. I am very handy with a wrench and do most of my work myself. Obviously this is beyond my capabilities. lol.
I ended up gong to Coast to Coast rims. They did a good enough job. very very tiny knick in one of the rims (of course they claimed they didn't do it) but at this point i was frustrated even trying to find a place that would do it to begin with. Very nice guys working there, looks like 8 mile detroit though. They also did the TPMS work but I have to bring the whole car up there for the reflash next week when i have a chance.
I just had new wheels and tires done by Firestone at 295 and San Jose. Ask for Josh and tell him Joe from Bridgestone HosePower sent you. They do all of the work on my company vehicles.
I have to admit that I don't like most Firestone stores but this one is pretty good.

Wow really!!?? I called that Firestone and they said they didn't have the equipment to mount the tires. They were afraid they would scratch the rims. They are actually the ones that recommended Coast to Coast to me. I guess I talked to the wrong guy. I'll remember that for the future though! Just an FYI though, their price to replace/refurb the TPMSx2 was literally double what C2C charged.
Oh on a side note, I bought my truck tires from them and they mounted them as well. So I've done business with that one before.

I work for Bridgestone which owns Firestone so I got the brother-in-law pricing.
